An MBF personal assistant manages the personal, professional, and household affairs of his or her employer. Our candidates can provide administrative, travel and household financial support, in addition to special event planning. Personal assistants have a B.A., B.S. or B.B.A., excellent oral and written communications skills, and computer proficiency, as well as knowledge of business and social protocol. Compensation for a junior personal assistant is $15-20/hr (degree not required), while a personal assistant / social secretary is typically paid $20+/hour + benefits.

Temporary Personal Assistants
These helpers assist in any household tasks or errand running with which you need assistance (does not involve childcare), for example, moving, mailings, gift wrapping, etc. Our temporary personal assistants also come in handy if you're healing after surgery. Ski Buddy
Many experienced skiers visit the Vail/Beaver Creek area that either aren't familiar with the unique terrain, or are looking for a local to fill them in on the unique tricks and tips of the region. A ski buddy will help you navigate the mountain, avoid long lift lines, long food lines and crowds. This also includes any ski related expenses and meals. A ski buddy is not a ski instructor, rather they’re a person who can guide you to ensure that you stay safe and make the most of your ski vacation.

An MBF household manager / butler ensures the smooth and orderly running of a household. Household managers manage the duties and schedules of the household staff, as well as arrange outside household services as needed. In addition to being familiar with all domestic roles and responsibilities, MBF’s household managers also provide hands-on services. Duties may include managing a household budget, keeping supplies stocked, making travel arrangements, maintaining care of employers' valuables, planning and coordinating special events, running personal errands for the employer and household and coordinating all aspects of entertaining. Candidates may either manage the household alone or they work under an estate manager. Household managers possess previous household management, or related, experience, and select candidates are professionally certified. Compensation is between $45-$130K/year + benefits for an MBF household manager.

Part-Time Property Manager
A Mom’s Best Friend property manager provides you with a strong sense of security as you are away from your home. Our property managers can maintain regularly scheduled activities including maintaining your housekeeping service coordination, curbside trash service, and regular home inspections. They are on-call for emergency and alarm response service 7 days a week. Additional services may include: contractor coordination, airport transportation service, concierge services, auto care, household account management, and dry cleaning pickup and delivery. Minimize your stress while your part-time property manager takes care of your home. A Mom’s Best Friend Part-time Property Manager is compensated $300-$600 per month for a one-year contract and the agency placement fee is $1500.

An experienced, professional MBF chef allows you to spend quality time with your family instead of spending your evenings in the kitchen. Chefs can be employed to plan, prepare and serve delicious cuisine according to your taste and/or dietary requirements, on a full-time, weekly or temporary basis. And for a more personal alternative to catering, we offer our in-home entertaining service—ideal for private parties, brunches, dinners, family reunions, and picnics at your home. Their backgrounds may include a degree in culinary arts, previous experience as a head chef in a fine restaurant, and/or previous experience as a household chef. Compensation packages for full-time MBF chefs depend on the experience and formal training, ranging from $40-$70K/year + benefits.

Temporary and Personal Chefs

An MBF executive housekeeper possesses a great deal of experience cleaning homes of a large scale and is familiar with maintenance and care of finer items. Executive housekeepers are hired a minimum of 30 hours/week on a live-in or live-out basis. MBF places highly detailed, proactive executive housekeepers who oversee all housekeeping duties in one or more households, ranging from daily maintenance to heavy house cleaning. Rates for executive Housekeeper salaries are typically $20-$35/hour.
